FOR the past two months, F1 Hotel Manila has been regaling diners with its new ala carte menu at F All-Day Dining.
These new offerings are composed mainly of classic Filipino dishes that have been prepared using different cooking techniques and flavors from other countries. Carefully curated by the hotel’s executive chef, Angelo “Chubby” Timban, the new dishes utilize top-quality ingredients delivered fresh daily by local suppliers.
The new ala carte menu offers a wide range of Filipino dishes with a twist, such as the Mexinigang (the Filipino favorite sinigang given a Mexican twist), the eccentric Classico Ragu Pasta (Italian pasta with Filipino caldereta sauce, garnished with black croutons and potatoes), the 3-way Lechon (carefully steamed and roasted and then deep-fried pork, served with bagoong rice), and the Chairman’s Burger (the hotel owner’s personal favorite, made with U.S. grade homemade patty, spread with salsa sauce, topped with Swiss cheese, and served with Sloppy Joe fries on the side).
