IT’S Mooncake season once again, as Asian countries and Chinese communities all over the world celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, which falls on October 1 this year, it is also known as the Mooncake Festival in the Philippines because the mooncake is at the center of the celebration.

The Lava Custard Mooncake makes use of the unique ‘double-bake’ technique to produce the one-of-a-kind texture and flavor of the aromatic and smooth silky filling seeping out from its core.
