This is the question that Wolf & Fox Gastropub poses to diners, categorizing highly successful people basically into two rather distinct, canine categories – Wolf or Fox.
A Wolf is an aggressive hunter, out to dominate and conquer the boardroom. Ambitious and driven, he is a natural-born hunter always going for the kill, whether in the boardroom or in jetting off to the hottest destinations on earth. He appreciates the finer things in life, choosing to dress himself in expensive suits and glittering jewels. When it comes to food, he is a bit of a carnivore, relishing in eats such as a good steak or a prime burger. He loves rich, sophisticated flavors.
A Fox is a creative, intelligent individual who does all things artistically and more out-of-the-box. A sensitive, creative soul, he prefers to let his bright ideas and wit do the talking. He finds deep pleasure in following his passion, whether it is writing down the story he has in his head or putting up his own artisan bakery. He prefers a more down-to-earth approach to everything, especially food, espousing a farm-to-table philosophy to his bites.
Whatever diners fancy, though, whether they eat like a Wolf or a Fox, Wolf & Fox Gastropub, located on the ground floor of Two Parkade, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, has got it covered. It has ingeniously divided its menu into two – the Wolf menu and the Fox menu.
The Wolf menu offers such rich, sophisticated and modern flavors as British Classic Pub Style Nachos (Php36, classic and indulgent French Onion Soup (Php22, a whopping Fox and Wolf Double Deck burger (Php44, Prosciutto, Figs and Arugula Flatbread (Php37 which is like an artisanal pizza, Seafood in EVOO Pasta (Php32, and a huge Dry-aged 600G U.S. Angus Rib Eye steak (Php1,789).
The Fox menu includes Full English Breakfast (Php36, Bangers and Mash (Php34, Beer-brined Mussels (Php36, Fish and Chips (Php35, slow-cooked and melt-in-the-mouth Coq au Vin chicken casserole dish (Php37, and Metro Reuben sandwich (Php43.
These dishes go well with Wolf & Fox’s signature cocktails, such as Absolut Stress, Millionaire’s Margarita, Safari Sangria, Long Beach City, Miami Vice and Midori Daiquiri. The gastropub also carries a wide selection of imported and local beers, branded liquors, vodka, rum, gin, tequila, whisky (single malt, blended scotch and bourbon), cognac and brandy.
Established in May 2014 by the SumoSam group of restaurants, Wolf & Fox is a cozy and comfy place for young professionals to hang out and relax after a long working day. The place is warmly lit, with portraits of animals in human suits decorating the walls, including the iconic portrait of Mr. Richard B. Wolf and William S. Fox in half bodies.
