Chef Yang Yong

Diamond Hotel Philippines provides Chinese food lovers with more exciting dining experiences by offering the culinary treasures of China at the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Corniche. The masterpieces of Chinese Sous Chef Yang Yong and his team may now be relished at Corniche via Chinese lauriat, Oriental a la carte choices and dimsum delights. It is like having a restaurant within a restaurant, which now has a Chinese dining area distinguished by tables covered in vibrant red cloth. The sizes of the tables range from two-seaters to tables for 10 guests.

Diners can opt for Chinese lauriat at Corniche, which offers five Chinese lauriat set menus. Each feast is marked by exquisite dishes prepared using only the freshest and finest ingredients available in the market. Highlights of the set menu include Triple Cooked Crab Beehon, Wok Fried Kung Pao Prawns with Dried Chili and Cashew Nuts, and Roasted Suckling Pig with Spicy Cucumber.

Signature a la carte Chinese dishes, whose extensive selection ranges from appetizers all the way to desserts, are another delicious option.

Both Chinese lauriat and a la carte selections are available daily for lunch and dinner.

Dimsum galore!

Then there are the delicious Chinese bites, which are better known as dimsum. Corniche’s wide range of steamed, baked and fried dimsums are the stars of the show at Corniche on weekends, specifically for Saturday and Sunday lunch. Dimsum Delights, priced at Php999 nett per person, features dimsum carefully handmade by Diamond Hotel’s dimsum chef, Pedrito Cagadas, and his team. The best way to enjoy the all-dimsum weekend lunch is to begin with an appetizer of the Soup of the Day, then give yourself a treat with Roasted Honey Barbecue Pork and Barbecued Pork Belly and other savory dimsum creations, and wind down to desserts, such as Mango Sago Cream and Buchi.

An even bigger and more delightful news to Chinese food lovers: Corniche now features the new Flavors of China themed dinner buffet every Thursday night.
