Precisely to remind consumers that Anchor has all these healthy and quality products, the leading dairy brand recently hosted a press event, #AWholeLotToLove, at Single Origin Rockwell in Makati City.
The event introduced the rich story behind Anchor, which is a brand owned and produced by Fonterra, a cooperative owned by 10,500 farming families in New Zealand. It also emphasized why Anchor dairy products are healthy and good for everyone, with New Zealand being one of the few places in the world where cows are grass-fed all year round, thus ensuring that the milk produced by these cows are naturally rich in antioxidants. Dairy products are also a natural superfood that contains over 200 nutrients and happens to be one of the richest food sources of Calcium and Vitamin D. Add to these the fact that its New Zealand farmer family owners have committed themselves to the strictest standards of quality control through regular on-farm testing and independent farm and environmental assessments. One of the ways by which it maintains its quality is the practice of its tanker drivers in collecting milk samples from every farm they visit to test their quality. After all, Anchor aims to be the world’s most trusted source of dairy nutrition in the world, and the fact that its products do not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs) is working strongly in its favor.
Hosting Anchor’s recent #AWholeLotToLove was thought-leader and mom Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi, while representing the Anchor brand were Fonterra Brands Philippines Inc. general manager Mike Boness, marketing director Jasmin Magsajo and nutrition manager Jo Ann Salamat. Multi-awarded chef Miko Aspiras, actress and celebrity mom blogger Sherilyn Tan, and food and travel writer and creator of Happy Tummy Travels Chichi Tullao served as speakers during the event.
The highlight of the day came in the form of food, with delicious dishes that make use of Anchor products as ingredients being served to guests, such as Pumpkin and Cinnamon Soup prepared with Anchor Culinary Cream; Four-cheese Pizza using Anchor Shredded Mozzarella, Anchor Shredded Cheddar and Anchor Grated Parmesan; and White Truffle Pasta prepared with Anchor Culinary Cream, Anchor Grated Parmesan and Anchor Unsalted Butter.
