Pan-fried Minced Pork Chive Dumplings Topped with Dried Sakura Shrimps

AT a time when what we’ve known all our lives are being alarmingly replaced by the new normal, traditions—especially when it comes to food—remain treasured. And so Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s award-winning Cantonese specialty restaurant Lung Hin continues to celebrate such traditions with each dish developed by its culinary team led by Executive Chinese Chef Ken Leung.

Just recently, Lung Hin presented a new line of Hong Kong Chef’s Recommendations and a special selection of culinary gems for intimate dining groups. Available for dine-in until October 31, 2020, are Chef Ken’s dishes, such as Pan-fried Minced Pork Chive Dumplings Topped with Dried Sakura Shrimp, Sautéed Squid with Three Kinds of Onion, Steamed Garoupa Fillet with Olive and Ginger in Soy Sauce, and Chilled Red Bean with Coconut Milk Jelly.

Guests dining in with loved ones may also enjoy a special set menu while overlooking the cityscape in one of Lung Hin’s private dining rooms. For a minimum dining party of five adults, a seven-course meal awaits. It includes the restaurant’s favorites, such as Deep-fried Japanese Oysters in Wasabi Sauce, Crispy Roasted Baby Duck in Black Pepper Sauce, and Steamed Live Crab in Chinese Wine and Egg White Served with E-fu Noodles. A limited-time promotion, it is available at Php3,888 per person. An advanced reservation of at least three days prior to preferred dining date is required.
