A NEW flavorful dining experience awaits diners at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Lung Hin, as the Chinese restaurant specializing in Cantonese cuisine debuts a new menu of exciting dishes.
Located on the 44th floor of the hotel, Lung Hin caters to a more discerning clientele who knows what good Cantonese food is and wants nothing less than that. So Lung Hin ”transports” diners to Hong Kong through the fine art of Cantonese cuisine whipped up by expertly trained Chinese chefs. It features traditional and authentic Cantonese food and fresh seafood prepared by its very own Hong Kong chefs and presented in a contemporary style.
Under the helm of Chinese Executive Chef Lai Cheuk Kou, also known as Chef Terry, Lung Hin constantly maintains a level of culinary excellence so that it regularly introduces new dishes to please the discriminating palate of its diners. Part of its new a la carte menu that goes across dim sum, carvery and seafood are Baked Prawns with Cheese and Avocado, Peking Duck with Osmanthus Flower Jelly on Potato Chip, and Chilled Dragon Fruits with Mango Mix. Also on the new menu are different takes on dim sum, such as Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings and Steamed Mushroom Buns. Then there are the classic Cantonese dishes—Mini Buddha Jump Over the Wall Soup and Braised Japanese Cucumber with Canadian Wild Rice.
These new dishes go very well with Lung Hin staples, which include seafood favorites such as Steamed Garoupa with Cordyceps Fower in Supreme Soy Sauce, Three-flavored Prawns and Steamed Live Lobster with Garlic, plus classic dim sum fares like Steamed Shrimp Dumplings and Steamed Scallop Dumplings.
Also not to be missed is Crispy Roast Suckling Pig, which diners can order in whole, half and single orders; as well as Lung Hin Signature Roasted Barbecue Pork, Wok-fried Wagyu Beef and Crispy Avocado Roll with Goose Liver, Deep-fried Hong Kong Pigeon, and Signature Salt-baked Chicken.
Aside from the food, Lung Hin provides a complete dining experience by offering not just sleek and cozy interiors but also an amazing view of the metro and personalized service by the staff led by restaurant manager Eric Lim Hoi San, who hails from Malaysia and is backed by 25 years of experience in Chinese restaurant operations.
