HERE’S another delightful dish that you can whip up using a can or two of King Cup Sardines, as shared by Luxent Hotel’s executive chef Kim Dalisay, who created this recipe. Teeming with cheese and herbs and also perfect on toast, this pizza is a healthier homemade alternative to commercial pizzas. It can be paired with a simple salad for a truly satisfying meal.
2 cans King Cup Sardines in Tomato Sauce
500 grams pizza crust
200 ml. tomato sauce
350 grams Mozzarella cheese
120 grams Parmesan cheese
20 grams dried oregano
200 grams onion rings
1. Top the pizza crust with tomato sauce (*make sure to leave about an inch of bare dough around the edges of the crust), Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, onion rings and sardines.
2. Bake until the cheese and crust begin to brown, about 20 minutes.
3. Let cool for 5 minutes.
4. Slice into square and serve.
