Enjoy Cebu-style Lechon
at Rico’s Lechon Tiendesitas

Rico’s Lechon Tiendesitas

OPENING right in time to serve lechon-loving Filipinos (and foreigners, too!) this holiday season is Rico’s Lechon Tiendesitas.

Cozy interiors of Rico’s Lechon Tiendesitas

The Roasting Pit…

… and more!

at the 1st Level, Food Village, Building B, of Tiendesitas in Ugong, Pasig City, Rico’s Lechon Tiendesitas is not just the newest branch of Rico’s Lechon in Metro Manila but also its biggest branch. It occupies a whopping 733 square meters that can easily accommodate 300 persons, with seven VIP rooms that can very well serve small private functions. More than the seating capacity of the restaurant, though, it is its Roasting Pit that’s turning out to be part of its main attraction. It is bigger than the Roasting Pit of Rico’s Lechon in Bonifacio Global City, which owns the distinction of being the first Rico’s Lechon store in Metro Manila. Since it can easily hold up to 20 full-sized lechons at any single time, so it is capable of meeting the demand for lechon during the holiday season. It is also quite a novelty for customers to watch as the lechons are roasting or as they are either wrapped whole or chopped into one kilo, half-kilo or quarter-kilo orders at the Chopping Area. Chopped lechon is usually served to dine-in customers in the restaurant or packed for takeout orders, and it is either Regular or Spicy lechon.

Chopped Original Lechon

Yes, Rico’s Lechon, which originates from Cebu, the Queen City of the South, has a Spicy lechon variant. It was the first to offer that in the country—and remains to be the only one.

There are also other lechon-based dishes that are gaining quite a following at Rico’s Lechon, such as Lechon Paksiw, Lechon Kare-Kare, Feetchon and Lechon Lumpiang Shanghai.

Other must-tries include Beef Tripe Kare-Kare, Tokwa at Lechon Baboy, Ginataang Laing, Gising Gising, Chicken Binakol, Seafood Kare-Kare, Sizzling Squid, Bam-I, Sisig Fried Rice and Chorizo Fried Rice. Rico’s Lechon is also known for its Adobong Kangkong, Baked Scallops, Bulalo and Kamote Balls.

Seafood Kare-Kare

Sizzling Squid

Bam-I

For thirst quenchers, it is a toss-up between Calamansi Soda and Green Mango Juice. And for dessert, do not forget to try Buchi with Caramel Sauce, Maja Kalabasa, Leche Flan, Oreo Mango Float and Pandan Tapioca.

Secret to tell: Rico’s Lechon is soon opening two more branches, located at Ayala Malls Cloverleaf and at U.P. Town Center.

(Rico’s Lechon has stores at BGC, with telephone number 0917-8447067; Tiendesitas at 0917-8950000, 234-9954 and234-9944; Mactan at 0917-1113000, 032-4020845 and 032-3831498; and Talamban at 0917-1027553. Its stores are open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., including takeout orders.)
