The Goose Is Back
at Lung Hin Restaurant

Authentic Hong Kong style Premium Roast Goose

MARK the date: November 12, 2018. It is when the premium roast goose makes a comeback at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Lung Hin. It is the day when Chef Billy Cheong returns to Lung Hin as a guest chef to prepare Hong Kong style premium roast goose for diners to enjoy.

Chef Billy and the talented chefs of Lung Hin will regale diners with their culinary creations, particularly the golden goose, which is a fine dining must-try that has made the cuisine of Hong Kong famous. Preparing the perfectly roasted goose requires a special culinary technique to achieve its famous crispy skin as well as tender, flavorful and juicy meat—and who better to prepare it than a seasoned chef like Chef Billy, to whose family the traditional dish has been a specialty for centuries. Chef Billy hails from Guangdong, and he has relatives who are also master chefs. He “inherited” the over a century old traditional roast goose formula from his grandfather, so he continues to regale diners with it wherever he goes.

Chef Billy’s premium roast goose will be available at Lung Hin Restaurant for a la carte orders as well as in a set menu. The set menu also includes Steamed Garoupa with Minced Garlic, Pan-fried Crab with Pork Belly in Supreme Soy Sauce, and Braised Seafood with Peach Gel Soup.

Taste the flavorful difference in the premium roast goose.
